Dr. Kamdar received his MD
from University of Bombay, India, in 1971.
He completed both his internship and residencies at KEM Hospital in
Bombay, and was a fellow in Endocrinology at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. He was board certified in Internal Medicine
in 1978, and in Endocrinology and Metabolism in 1979. In 1992, he was voted Best Teacher by the house staff of the
White Memorial Medical Center. His
latest appointment was with the USC as Associate Professor of Clinical
Medicine.
Dr. Kamdar’s clinical
research interests are in diabetes mellitus, lipid disorders, drug evaluations,
coronary risk factors in South Asian population, and the prevention of
diabetes.
