The documents found here outline the normal and abnormal physiology, differential diagnosis, signs and symptoms, complications, and treatment of the most common endocrine conditions.  These files are written for physicians and other health care professionals and are intended to be educational tools.  Patients who are looking for information should also visit the UCLA Patient Learning Series.

These files were written by Mark Goodarzi, M.D. They are based on a review of recent medical literature and current clinical practice guidelines. The files are intended for use by health care professionals as medical references. Use of the information contained therein for patient care purposes is done strictly at the discretion of the health care provider. These overviews are of a general nature and may not apply to all patients. Medical knowledge is constantly evolving; these databases will be periodically updated to reflect advances in the field of endocrinology.

These documents and several others are available for installation on handheld computers running on a Palm or Palm-compatible operating system.  They can be found in DOC format here.
