Research

Fellows are expected to engage in at least one research project (basic science or clinical research) during their fellowship. Fellows should choose a research mentor from within the Division of Endocrinology. In the beginning of the year, arrange to meet with attendings that are engaged in research that you are interested in doing research with in order to familiarize yourself with the various research that is on-going within the division. Once you have selected your research mentor, relay this information to Brandi Hutchinson and Dr. Martinez and submit a brief research proposal describing your research project. Fellows are expected to present their research during Endocrine Grand Rounds before completion of their fellowship.
