Dr. Martinez received her M.D. from the University of California, Irvine in 1995. She completed her internship in 1996 at the University of California, San Francisco and her residency at Scripps Clinic and Research Program in 1998. Dr. Martinez completed her Endocrinology Fellowship from on June 2002 at UCLA, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Hypertension. She is board certified in Internal Medicine. She was awarded the best Fellow Teaching Award in 2002 by the UCLA Internal Medicine House staff. Dr. Martinez joined the UCLA Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Hypertension faculty in 2002.

Clinical Interest: General Endocrinology and diabetes, thyroid biopsy, cholesterol, osteoporosis, and Paget’s Disease.
